Volunteer
Volunteer
Volunteers and interns play a crucial role in providing education, awareness, and strength for members of our community. Whether it be assisting with everyday operational tasks or helping us on-site at a retreat, we truly value this support. Volunteers are integral to our mission and make it possible to serve more young women.
Review Our Open Positions
On-Site Retreat Support
At the retreats, volunteers provide hands-on support to the Director, Program Director, and the participants! It is a fun, dynamic, and fulfilling role. For the duration of the retreat, you are surrounded by powerful and inspiring women, including fellow staff and volunteer members, and of course, the participants. Our retreats have four primary volunteer branches: Operations/Logistics, Administrative/Executive Support, Dorm Directors, and Medical/Wellness. For example, Operations/Logistics tasks range from coordinating meals with local restaurants to setting up for yoga, Facial Design, or Therapy Through Art. Your placement will depend on your experience.
Mentor Participant Support
A mentor is an experienced and thoughtful leader and volunteer who is committed to investing one’s time to assist in the growth and development of past, present and future participants of the Angel Faces retreats and community. The mentor is willing to share their knowledge, experience, and wisdom and act as a guide and role model.
Travel Coordinator
The Travel coordinator will make travel arrangements for participants and other volunteers, including scheduling flights and ground transportation, booking accommodations and handling any other trip-related tasks. The logistical aspect of transporting groups of people from one location to another requires a great deal of focused planning and organizing, and thus making arrangements in an essential part of a Travel Coordinator’s job.
